50 Days to Build Hope: PFM's Vanj Factory Opens with Presidential Ceremony
On June 27, 2025, the VANJ Marble Factory, built by PFM in Tajikistan, held its grand opening, with the President of Tajikistan attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Completed in just 50 days, the factory showcases PFM’s remarkable speed, professional execution, and strong commitment to local development.
The idea for the factory originated from PFM's founder, Susan. After years of working in Tajikistan, she witnessed the challenges faced by local communities—limited job opportunities and underutilized resources. She envisioned a factory that would turn quarry offcuts into high-value stone crafts for export to Europe and the U.S., while also creating jobs for local residents.
The factory now stands not only as a production base but also as a symbol of hope—providing real income and opportunities to the people of the region.
